Cooler Master ATC-SPB-210CA Side Window Panel Review

The side panel arrives at our test facility.

This side window is an "upgrade" for the Cooler Master ATC-210C Aluminum Case.  Currently, I do not have the ATC-210C case to put this window on.  Although, this window will fit on almost all of Cooler Master's cases, you just have to make sure that you have the newest revision of the case and that the color matches.  We will test this window on the ATC-111-SX1.  You can find the right window for your Cooler Master case, if you shop around online.  The prices will range from forty to fifty dollars, which is a fair price for people who don't want to modify the side panel themselves.  It is also good for people who don't have the right utilities to cut the aluminum and put the window in.

Opening the box, you will find that the side panel is protected quite adequately, there is foam surrounding all sides of the window.  Additionally, the window is wrapped in bubble sheets.

Taking out the side panel from the box, you can see that the color of the window is a tinted blue.  Cooler Master calls this specific side panel the Azure version.  There are many other colors available, the most popular are: Azure (blue), Verdant (light green, glass look) and Dark Gray colors. 

You can really see the quality of the window, almost looking like glass.

Looking closer at the window it self, you can see that the side window is actually made out of Acrylic.  Looking from a distance, the window looks like it is made out of glass.  The window is secured by 8 screws that require a hex screwdriver to remove.

At the side of the panel, you will find a convenient handle, that only the new Cooler Master case side panels feature.

From the two above pictures, you can see that the window gives everything a pleasant blue tint.

When the side panel is installed, you can see that it dramatically improves the looks of your Cooler Master case.  You will get a professional case modification look, without doing the modifications yourself.

This picture is when the system is turned on and some lights are added.  Please note that the lights are sold separately and are not made by Cooler Master.

Conclusion:

The Cooler Master ATC-SPB-210CA aluminum side panel with the azure colored window definitely improves the visual appearance of your case.  I would recommend getting it if you don't want to do a side window modification yourself, or you don't have the right tools to cut the aluminum.  For a price of forty to fifty dollars, this side panel is great.
